Three possibilities as causes of American woes, failures, or degeneracies:
1. Mistakes attributed to the well-intentioned
2. Conspiracies attributed to the few
3. America’s righteousness attributed to the morally virtuous
Mistakes are to be addressed by being more prudent, more careful.
Conspiracies are to be addressed by exposure or transparency, along with impeachments, imprisonments, or banishment, physical or social.
The righteousness caused by American moral values is to be addressed philosophically.
