Below is a
link to a story about the beheading of James Foley by ISIS, after the Obama
administration refused to pay ransom for him of several million dollars. Make
no mistake about it: The beheading serves to underwrite the Obama/Bush strategy
in the Middle East by reinforcing the idea that ISIS is a terrorist
organization like no other. And it reinforces the Obama/Bush strategy of
creating chaos, death, and destruction throughout the Middle East because this
strategy serves to strengthen Israel’s “national security” by liberating it
from restraint and also serves those who seek to make money off the situation.
As Donald
Rumsfeld said regarding the alleged unplanned debacle following the Iraq
invasion: “Stuff happens.” Indeed it does, especially when that stuff is
happening because it serves the interests of those in power.
